Any reviews, comments, or messages posted/uploaded by users on public sections of an Application Store (like the Google Play Store) become published content and are not considered personally identifiable information subject to this Privacy Policy.
In case you choose to decline to submit personally identifiable information or withdraw consent for necessary permissions on the TrackiFi App, We may not be able to provide certain services on the App to you. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of the same at the appropriate time. The TrackiFi App collects financial transaction data by reading SMS messages from your device's SMS inbox, but only after obtaining your explicit consent to access the SMS inbox. The App is designed to read messages that appear to be transactional, typically from alphanumeric senders (e.g., banks, card issuers). We strive to ignore personal messages and do not read or store OTPs (One-Time Passwords) for login or transaction authorization purposes from your SMS inbox on our servers.
The collection of such information from SMS is limited to details typically found in transactional messages, such as merchant names, transaction amounts, dates, and the last few digits of your card or account number. TrackiFi may also record the identity of the product or service and the price or fee paid or payable in respect thereof based on SMS data.
We may collect device-specific information (such as your hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information). We may also collect information about how you use the App, such as features utilized and frequency of use, to improve our services.
We may use analytics services (like Google Analytics or similar tools) to understand app usage, user demographics, and interests in an aggregated and anonymized manner. This helps us improve the App and user experience. These reports are anonymous and cannot be associated with any individual personally identifiable information you may have shared with us. If enabled from the App, we may take a backup of your data on our secure cloud database. This is done for the purpose of enabling users to get their data back in case their phone’s data becomes unusable, if the phone is lost, or the user moves to a new phone device. We also use this backup to provide useful insights and information related to your spends and to provide information in the form of aggregated and anonymized statistics.
TrackiFi does not ask for or store full debit/credit card numbers, CVV, or net banking passwords within the App's primary expense tracking flow through SMS. If any feature in the future requires more sensitive details (e.g., for direct bank linking, which is currently not indicated), it will be done with your explicit consent and through secure, compliant mechanisms.
While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, the use of the App will be at your own risk. We assume no liability for any disclosure of information due to errors in transmission, unauthorized third-party access, or other acts of third parties, or acts or omissions beyond Our reasonable control. You agree not to hold Us responsible for any breach of security unless such breach has been caused as a direct result of Our gross negligence or willful default.
